In order to make 12 tricks, having a force immediately,
trumps must divide 4-4. However, there is no obvious way to play
the Heart winners in dummy and get back to enjoy the king and
queen of diamonds in your hand.. But suppose the diamonds break
3-3. Do some counting. You know West has 6 clubs; if he has four
spades and three diamonds, he has a void in hearts. Therefore
East has all the outstanding hearts. Ruff the club and draw all
the trumps discarding AKQJ of hearts. Cross to dummy with the
diamond ace and lead your heart 2. East can have his 10 but now
must give you an entry to your hand with the 9 of hearts or a
diamond. Just a simple unblock and en passant play!! Only one
